Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Epic Wisdom Application Analyst to join our healthcare IT team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the implementation, configuration, customization, and ongoing support of Epic Wisdom applications . This position requires a strong background in healthcare practice management , Epic systems , and the ability to collaborate across clinical, business, and IT teams to optimize system performance and workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation & Configuration:
Lead the end-to-end setup, implementation, and upgrade of the Epic Wisdom system.
Configure Epic Wisdom modules to align with organizational workflows and compliance standards.
Perform system customization and build configurations to support practice management and clinical workflows.
Validate configurations and ensure system performance meets business requirements.
Workflow Analysis & Optimization:
Analyze existing workflows to identify gaps and recommend process improvements.
Work closely with clinical, scheduling, and billing teams to streamline patient and provider workflows.
Implement enhancements to improve usability, efficiency, and user satisfaction.
Integration & Collaboration:
Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to ensure smooth integration of Epic Wisdom with other Epic modules and healthcare systems.
Partner with Epic-certified professionals, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Provide regular project status updates and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Training & Knowledge Transfer:
Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation for end-users and internal teams.
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure long-term system sustainability.
Support & Maintenance:
Provide day-to-day operational support for Epic Wisdom users.
Troubleshoot and resolve system or user issues promptly.
Participate in system testing, upgrades, and patch management.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
12 15 years of total experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Epic Wisdom.
Proven experience in Epic system configuration, build, testing, and support.
Strong understanding of dental practice workflows, including clinical, scheduling, billing, and patient experience components.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and clinical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Epic Wisdom Certification (highly preferred).
Experience with Epic Practice Management and related modules.
Prior involvement in Epic implementation or upgrade projects.
Familiarity with integration between Epic and third-party systems.
