About Us: GPAC has partnered with a law firm in Chicago specializing in personal injury litigation. The team is dedicated to advocating for clients who have suffered personal injuries and passionate about providing exceptional legal support and making a positive impact in the community.
Position Overview: The firm is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Personal Injury Attorney to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate can have experience in personal injury litigation and a strong understanding of legal procedures, case management, and client interaction but the firm WILL TRAIN.
Key Responsibilities:
* Learn from and assist attorneys in all aspects of personal injury cases, from intake to resolution.
* Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence.
* Conduct legal research and gather evidence to support cases.
* Communicate with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers to obtain necessary information.
* Organize and maintain case files and ensure compliance with deadlines.
* Prepare for, and eventually conduct, hearings, depositions, and trials.
* Provide exceptional client service and maintain a professional demeanor.
Qualifications:
* License to practice law in good standing in IL.
* 0 to 3 years of experience in the practice of law.
* Experience in personal injury law a plus but not necessary.
* Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
