Steel City South Pediatrics is a coveted walk-in pediatric primary care clinic that provides exceptional medical care for families in the greater Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. We strive to increase primary care accessibility, and pride ourselves on providing compassionate and comprehensive services to children from birth through adulthood.

We are looking for a CRNP who seeks to provide stellar PCP outpatient care to families in the greater Pittsburgh area. The pediatrician provides general medicine, growth and development monitoring, and immunization tracking and administering. You will also ease children with chronic conditions and offer support and advice to parents about children's health, safety, nutrition, and fitness needs.

To be a successful CRNP, you should be able to provide an accurate diagnosis based solely on visual and auditory indicators for children who cannot communicate effectively. You should also have excellent decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities will include the:

• Maintenance of patient records.
• Establishment of treatment plans.
• Performance of medical examinations.
• Diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and can effectively react to patient emergencies. 
• Heartfelt communication with patients, parents and caregivers.
• Guidance toward illness and injury prevention that promotes lifelong health practices for patients and caregivers.

Education:

• CRNP degree from an Accredited Nurse Practitioner School.
• License to practice medicine as a nurse. 
• American Nurse Credentialing Center certification, or proof of board certification.

Experience and Requirements:

• Working knowledge of medical terminology, ICD, CPT coding and appropriate clinical pharmacology for a PCP practice scope and ensuring compliance of HIPAA regulations (Prefered)
• Fluency in the primary principles regarding EHR systems (Prefered)
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills. (Required)
• Familiarity with electronic medical health care record systems.
• Passionate about healthcare excellence to help with increasing primary care accessibility.

Ability to commute/relocate

• Pittsburgh, PA 15227: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
