Job Description:
We are seeking an Entry-Level HVAC Helper to join our team in Whiteville, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to start a career in the HVAC industry. While prior HVAC experience is preferred, it is not required—we are willing to train the right candidate. We are looking for someone who is trainable, reliable, and motivated to learn and grow in a dynamic field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist HVAC technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
• Carry and transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.
• Help with the cleaning and preparation of HVAC units, including replacing filters, checking for efficiency, and inspecting systems.
• Follow directions from experienced technicians to learn the basics of HVAC service and repair.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring tools and materials are organized and ready for use.
• Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC system issues under the supervision of senior technicians.
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with the team and customers when needed.

Qualifications:

• No experience required, but prior experience or knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus.
• Must be trainable and willing to learn new skills in the HVAC trade.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and perform physical labor.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
