Salary: $143,320 - 273,930 per year Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree; or alternatively, 4 years of relevant experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- At least 10 years of experience in the Information Technology sector, including a minimum of 2 years in a technical leadership capacity.
- Experience in technology application development or infrastructure and operational implementation.
- Extensive knowledge in at least one technology domain, considering application, infrastructure, operations, scalability, availability, and performance aspects.
- Proven ability to present complex technology decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and build trustful relationships with management and relevant stakeholders.
- Understanding of technical architecture standards, principles, and policies; awareness of applicable regulations and risk management practices.
Responsibilities: - Design and implement multi-channel digital experiences (web, mobile, IVR) that cater to millions of members and facilitate billions of monthly interactions.
- Update and enhance enterprise APIs and services utilizing REST, GraphQL, Golang, Spring Boot, along with cloud-native paradigms on AWS/OpenShift/Kubernetes.
- Establish real-time and event-driven architectures (Kafka, AppSync) to foster responsive and personalized member interactions.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure all digital interfaces meet accessibility, usability, and performance standards.
- Incorporate Adobe Analytics and other experience measurement tools to drive data-informed insights and personalization.
- Outline API-first strategies, microservices architecture, and integration methodologies for expansive enterprise systems.
- Develop engineering standards, development cycles, and testing practices to expedite delivery and enhance reliability.
- Offer architectural guidance on AI/ML-focused personalization and frameworks that enable data-driven decision-making.
- Direct modernization initiatives for legacy platforms, promoting the use of cloud-native technologies, service mesh, and reactive programming.
- Prototype and implement experience management frameworks using Kubernetes, Snowflake, and vendor platforms for actionable insights.
- Influence decision-making regarding technology across the organization through governance boards and executive-level collaboration.
- Mentor engineers and cultivate a culture centered on simplicity, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Drive collaborative efforts across product, data science, and operations teams to ensure alignment between technology and business objectives.
- Represent engineering interests in strategic discussions, advocating best practices and modernization efforts.
- Identify, measure, monitor, and manage risks associated with business operations per compliance policies and procedures.
