This role is open to all candidates in California - must have a bar admission for this state. 
At least 1 year experience.
You must have experience in class certification motions.

 

Job Description:

As a Remote Employment Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients in employment-related matters. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of clients on a variety of issues, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, and employment contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents related to employment law
• Counsel clients on employment-related matters and provide legal advice
• Represent clients in administrative proceedings and litigation
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
• Draft employment policies and procedures for clients
• Conduct training for clients on employment law issues
• Monitor changes in employment law and advise clients accordingly
• Making in-person appearances at court hearings, depositions, etc.

Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in good standing
• At least 1 year of experience must have worked on class certification motions 
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Comfortable using technology and remote communication tools
• Experience with state and federal employment laws
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
