Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER)
Pottstown, PA
95-120K + Signing Bonus + Bonus + Benefits + Paid Relocation

Shift Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Rotating Schedule, Including Every 3rd Weekend and Every Other Holiday)

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room (ER), you will be at the forefront of providing critical care to patients during their most vulnerable moments. Your role is essential in assessing, stabilizing, and managing patients with urgent medical needs. Here are the details:

Responsibilities:

• Assessment and Triage:
• Rapidly assess patients as they arrive in the ER.
• Prioritize care based on severity and acuity.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to determine appropriate interventions.
• Emergency Interventions:
• Administer medications, perform wound care, and assist with procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes promptly.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families during crises.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
• Communicate effectively during handoffs and shift changes.
• Patient Education:
• Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Ensure patients understand discharge instructions and medications.
• Emergency Preparedness:
• Be prepared for any situation, from trauma to cardiac emergencies.
• Maintain knowledge of emergency protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Education Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Experience:
• Previous RN experience is required.
• ER experience is highly preferred.
• Certification and Licensure:
• Valid PA Registered Nurse License.
