We are looking for a School Principal for an International School based in in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2024. About the schoolOne of the international bilingual education pioneers in China. The school committed to providing students with a well-rounded international education that combines Chinese and Western educational philosophies, cultural elements, and best practices. The group has more than 20 campuses across China with Elementary, Middle and High School departments. Job responsibilities Manage administrative tasks Develop student learning plans to ensure academic progress and success Arrange and conduct at least two parent-teacher meetings per school year to foster effective communication between parents and faculty Regularly send feedback letters to parents to keep them informed about their children's academic performance and progress Assist students in their university job applications to support their future career endeavors Coordinate the activities of foreign teachers, including organizing regular training and staff meetings for them Observe classes at least twice per semester to ensure the quality of teaching by foreign teachers Organize student activities and collaborate with Sino-American projects to celebrate festivals with Chinese characteristics, such as Halloween and Christmas Assist with the recruitment publicity and arrange freshman entrance tests Take responsibility for teaching at least 1-2 courses to actively contribute to the academic program Collaborate with school's activities to promote a harmonious educational environment Job requirements Qualified as a principal recognized by the BC Department of Education Past work experience as principal or vice principal Proficient in using office software and able to use or learn multimedia devices quicklyExcellent human relationship skillsDeep understanding of Chinese and Western cultureDemonstrated ability to plan and implement Salary and benefits Competative salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications and is negotiable Monthly housing allowancePublic holidaysFully paid Summer and Winter holidaysNational public holidaysFlight allowanceMedical insuranceFree school placement for dependent childrenWork and residence permit sponsorship
