Job Title: Electrical Project Manager

System One is assisting a client in hiring a Electrical Project Manager to support a large-scale mission critical project in the Austin, Texas region. This role is on-site and will support complex electrical construction efforts for a high-capacity facility requiring extensive technical, operational, and leadership expertise.
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the execution of mission-critical electrical infrastructure projects up to 400MW and ranging from $200M–$600M in value. The ideal candidate excels in fast-paced environments, leads multidisciplinary teams, manages EPC relationships, and ensures the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, subcontractors, and site teams.
Oversee scope, schedule, budget, risk, and change management across complex electrical work packages.
Lead planning, scheduling, cost control, procurement, and resource allocation for mission-critical project components.
Manage high-voltage project execution up to 400MW, including coordination with EPC partners, MEP contractors, commissioning teams, and third-party technical groups.
Oversee protection & controls, EMS/SCADA systems, plant controllers, power quality troubleshooting, and other technical needs through internal experts and OEM/third-party providers.
Support incident command processes and lead Root Cause Analysis for technical or operational events.
Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers, engineers, and field personnel.
Foster a collaborative, safety-first work environment with a focus on operational excellence.
Drive alignment between construction teams, engineering partners, and stakeholders.
Manage OEM and vendor relationships, enforce performance requirements (LTSA, KPIs, LDs), and coordinate technical support.
Oversee contract compliance, change orders, and claims management as needed.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accountability for quality control, project reporting, and risk mitigation strategies.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred (not required).
10+ years of project management experience in mission-critical or high-voltage electrical construction.
Experience managing large-scale projects up to 400MW and budgets of $200M–$600M .
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, industry best practices, and mission-critical operations.
Proven experience coordinating technical teams and managing EPCs, vendors, and OEMs.
Exceptional communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
PMP, PE, or related certifications preferred.
