Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and document electrical control panel layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams in compliance with UL508A and other applicable codes/standards.
- Select appropriate electrical components (breakers, relays, PLCs, VFDs, power supplies, etc.) based on application requirements and customer specifications.
- Prepare bills of materials (BOMs), wiring schedules, and panel layout drawings.
- Provide engineering support during panel assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, fabricators, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into skids, machinery, and customer applications.
- Support internal and external inspections, including UL audits and customer factory acceptance tests (FAT).
- Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and cost-efficiency targets.
- Provide technical guidance to production teams and assist in training when necessary.
Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in electrical design
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
