Electrical Design (Hardware) Engineer

A dynamic organization known for its collaborative and people-first environment is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer. This role offers the chance to be a key contributor in developing new products and improving existing ones. The team operates with limited hierarchy, emphasizing teamwork across departments such as production, operations, and engineering to achieve shared goals. Employees attend frequent meetings to align on company objectives, KPIs, project priorities, and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and redesign schematics and PCB designs for DC control systems and test fixtures.
  
• Create detailed Bills of Materials (BOM) for new designs.
  
• Design filter inductors and power transformers.
  
• Test designs to ensure compliance with internal and third-party environmental, regulatory, and safety standards.
  
• Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to resolve production and documentation issues.
  
• Participate in team discussions to refine system designs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  
• 3-7 years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally filling the gap between entry-level and senior roles.
  
• Expertise in power electronics, analog, digital, and embedded microcontroller application design.
  
• Experience with magnetics design (transformers and chokes) and SCR control/driver circuit design.
