Job Title: Drupal Developer

Location: Remote

Duration: 6+ Month Contract



Job Purpose:
The Drupal Developer will support and enhance business processes by delivering robust IT solutions for the Digital Marketing function within Investment Management. This role focuses on developing, designing, and analyzing applications of moderate to high complexity while leveraging expertise in full-stack Drupal, PHP, CSS, and MySQL. The Senior Developer will ensure solutions align with business needs and adhere to best practices in application architecture, coding, testing, and maintenance.



Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the identification and definition of application architectures, components, and interfaces, including data models, information flows, and security designs.
• Design and implement software engineering solutions for new products and enhancements to existing applications to meet business requirements.
• Provide practical knowledge of technical design alternatives, assessing implications and recommending the most effective solutions.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and marketplace trends, including competitive advancements.
• Communicate technical alternatives clearly, aligning them with business objectives and effectively engaging customers and stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide a team of 2-4 developers in application development activities, fostering collaboration and technical growth.
• Adhere to organizational policies and processes for software development, project management, and DevSecOps.
• Actively participate in and often lead phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Collaborate with business and IT partners to identify opportunities for business value and assess project costs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience:
• 4 8 years of progressive experience in developing and maintaining Drupal, PHP, and CSS applications.
• 2+ years of domain experience in Digital Marketing is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in full-stack development, including UI, middle-tier, and back-end components.
• Proficiency in UI/UX technologies such as Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, UI Frameworks, and HTML.
• Familiarity with release management processes, including CI/CD and DevSecOps concepts.
• Experience with TFS (Team Foundation Server) and working knowledge of GIT.
• Proven ability to collaborate with onshore and offshore teams and vendor partners in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Experience with unit testing and user interface testing.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, concepts, and associated tools.
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) technologies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of software engineering principles and methodologies.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Drupal certifications are a plus.
• Agile certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of the Investment Management or Financial Services domain is preferred.
