JOB DESCRIPTION

General Responsibilities: This position plays a key role in creating an environment in which our member and guest satisfaction is the highest priority and consistent with our club’s philosophy. To provide high-quality instruction, exceptional member service, and expert guidance in equipment selection

Specific Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent service to club members by promptly responding to inquiries, coordinating lesson schedules, and ensuring a positive, personalized experience.
• Deliver high-quality racquet sports instruction through individual and group sessions, focusing on technique, strategy, and skill development to enhance members' enjoyment of tennis, pickleball, and related sports.
• Ensure racquet sports facilities are well-maintained, with clean courts, proper net setup, and safe surfaces, upholding the club's standards.
• Work with club management to plan and host racquet sports events, including clinics, tournaments, and social gatherings that build community among members.
• Assist members in selecting racquet sports equipment by recommending racquets, balls, and apparel suited to their skill level and style.

Qualifications:

• Certified Tennis Teaching Professional (USPTA or PTR certification preferred).
• Proven experience in teaching tennis lessons to players of all ages and abilities.
• Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times, representing the tennis program and shop with integrity and professionalism.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for tennis and a commitment to fostering player development.
• Ability to organize and manage tennis programs and events.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• First aid and CPR certification (preferred).
