Position Title: Director of Philanthropic Events
Reports To: Chief of Community Engagement
Status: Full-Time
Work Schedule:M-F (7:30AM-4:00PM); as needed for events.
Position Purpose:
The Director of Philanthropic Events is responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of all philanthropic, campaign, and stewardship events along with developing the strategies and programs related to achieving the mission of The Woodlands Christian Academy (TWCA).
Essential Functions:
All members of the Senior Leadership Team/Directors/Assistant Principals/Deans carry the following responsibilities:
Possess and model a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Leadership:
Develop and oversee TWCA’s comprehensive fundraising and donor stewardship plan and initiatives.
Strategic and Administrative:
Support TWCA’s mission, vision, and ends goals as set forth by the Governance Board.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Additional Qualifications:
Possess a strong Christian testimony and be an active member of a Bible-believing church.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
The ideal candidate can:
Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
Work in standard office conditions and climate.
Work in varied extreme outside weather conditions during special activities and fundraising events, as needed.
Perform in a highly stressful environment dealing with various challenges, deadlines, and a varied and diverse array of contacts.
Sit and stand for extended periods of time; bend, stoop, climb stairs, and reach overhead.
Hear and understand speech at normal classroom levels, outdoors, and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in normal classrooms, outdoors, and on the telephone.
