We have been retained by a senior living community with multiple locations in the Madison, WI area to search for a Director of Nursing . This organization is a premier provider of Assisted Living and Memory Care. They meet seniors regardless of where they are in their life journey including providing Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation services.
Overview
This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual that is looking for personal growth and development in a state-of-the-art health care setting. Qualified candidates should have experience in long-term care (LTC), including Director or Assistant Director leadership experience. This exciting opportunity requires an experienced leader with the ability and energy to create a positive atmosphere.
Qualifications
* 3-5 years of Director of Nursing experience preferred
* Current WI Registered Nurse (RN) license
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations in long-term care
* Experience with the applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid
Responsibilities
* Defining and maintaining the standards of nursing practice within the facility
* Ensures continued adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations
* Management and oversight of all nursing staff
* Providing planning, organization, education, supervision, and evaluation of all services provided in the facility
* Verifying that all department staff is properly trained to perform their required duties
* Ensuring that operation of the Nursing Department remains consistently within budget
* Experience with the applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid
