Job Summary:

As the Director OF Events at CUBE Events, you will spearhead our Event Management Department, leading a dynamic team responsible for delivering exceptional events for our clients. This pivotal role involves overseeing event managers who act as account executives for each event, ensuring seamless planning and execution. You will be instrumental in driving the departments profitability, managing budgets, and making strategic decisions regarding resource allocation. Your leadership will foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Lead, evaluate, and mentor Event Managers, ensuring alignment with the companys values, strategic objectives, and performance standards. Develop and enhance the Event Manager training program to support continuous learning and professional growth.

  • Client Experience: Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded. Lead client presentations to secure new business and foster long-term partnerships. Develop a strategic client experience process, structure, and action items to be executed by the team.

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the departments processes, including recruitment, equipment procurement, and financial management. Collaborate with the Director of Operations and other senior leaders to refine processes and strategies for improved efficiency and client satisfaction. Provide guidance and support for major projects, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and projects are completed to the highest standard.

  • Key Clients Accounts & Proprietary Events: Manage company key client's accounts and projects to develop stronger client relationships and innovate our events throughout the year.

  • Financial Management: Supervise the quoting and invoicing processes to maintain financial integrity and client trust. Approve estimated budgets and expenditures for events and departmental needs, and meet financial targets and goals for each project.

  • Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with Company Leaders and Event Managers, supporting them in their roles and ensuring a clear understanding of expectations and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in event management, with a proven track record of managing successful events and leading teams.

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.

  • Demonstrate ability to manage and inspire a team, with a strong focus on development and empowerment.

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, capable of engaging with clients, vendors, and team members at all levels.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

  • Proficiency in financial management, with an understanding of budgeting and accounting principles relevant to event management.

  • A customer-centric approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality experiences.

  • Proficient in English Language
