Job Description

This is a Full-Time delivery driver position with PGLB Logistics. Future drivers will be trained to deliver Step Van routes (paid DOT training/certification).

Potential candidates must be over 21 years of age with a clean driving record who is also reliable, independent, flexible, pays attention to details, can quickly problem solve a wide range of situations, and win in a fast-paced environment! Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, communicate effectively, and are ready to get the job done.

Successful delivery drivers enjoy being out on the road driving, put safety first, and care deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction.

Compensation:  

• $22.75 hour (paid biweekly)
• Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance; 401K w/matching
• PTO begins accruing immediately at start of employment

Shift Time: 

• 9:35am start
• 10-hour shifts are typical
• 3 - 4 shifts a week is typical
• Schedule is flexible; required 1 shift on the weekend

Responsibilities of a Delivery Driver:

• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle
• Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction
• Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions
• Lift packages (up to 50 lbs.); get in and out of a van repeatedly
• Communicate effectively with support team to ensure deliveries are completed
• Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
• Support the team in daily work requirements

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must hold a non-probationary, unrestricted driver’s license
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (does not include marijuana)
• Must have a clean motor vehicle
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
