Job Description

We re looking for a DB2 Database Administrator for an onsite role in Atlanta, GA . If you re looking for a new opportunity, apply today!

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, document, and perform upgrades and migration, setting up new database environments
• Develop moderate/complex SQL statement for data migration (ETL process)
• Support application developers in designing, implementing and testing database changes to support business applications
• Assist application developers code efficient SQL statements, review the SQL statements for performance and make recommendations for indexes
• Assist other database administrators maintain multiple DB2 LUW environments, such as development, QA, training, and production
• Ability to work during non-business hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience as a database administrator
• 5 years of experience with SQL
• 3 years of experience with:
  • DB2 LUW
  • RHEL
• 1 year of experience with:
  • Relational Data Modeling
  • Microsoft's Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Erwin

The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $165,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
