This is a 12-week paid learning experience during which you’ll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. We’ll give you hands-on projects and the chance to create an immediate impact.

What It’s Like

Data Products and Insights team primarily supports Consumer and Marketing orgs with their AI needs and with any data needed to support the AI strategy. We will be focused on creating solutions that lets us analyze customer behavior and be proactive on serving to what their needs are.

What You’ll Do

Partner up with the team to help build the model(s) to address the customer needs, test the models for accuracy, efficiency and meet the goals. Train/retrain the model(s), Deploy and provide insights that can be derived from them.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract, prepare and model large, complex data sets using a combination of skills, including machine learning theory, mathematics, statistics, and programming.
• Perform data mining and statistical analyses on ad hoc business problems.
• Define problems in mathematical terms. For example, “Why is product feature X underperforming?” and “What data on user behavior might help explain it?”

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics/Computer Science/Statistics or Economics
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program
• Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships

Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.

Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.

Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience/location.
