Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: Grand Rapids, MI (Full Onsite)
Duration: 3-6 Months (With Possible Extension)
Important:
Should be working from the Grand Rapids, MI client office.
The role might occasionally require working after hours and/or holidays/weekends.
Job Description:
Extensive experience in various aspects of Data Engineering.
At least 5+ years' experience working with Data Integration in Microsoft-Azure
All aspects of Data Extraction, Data Transformation, Data Loading, Data Storage and Data Warehousing.
Sound understanding of Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, COSMOS DB, Data Lake, Teradata
Understand existing Data and architecture and suggest ways to optimize it.
Candidates should be able to troubleshoot failed E-L-T processes and suggest permanent fixes for recurring issues.
Candidates should have experience setting up alerting, monitoring, automation and self-healing on existing pipelines and processes to increase reliability of existing processes.
Experience in Splunk/Azure Monitor/Dynatrace or any other relevant tool for troubleshooting.
Experience in reporting tools like Power-BI.
Knowledge of Automation tools like Power Automate is a plus.
Have basic understanding of SRE concepts.
