Description Lead Technician- 5+ years of Lead or Management experience L3 Technician- 3+ years of dedicated DC Experience Required. Team will be handling troubleshooting of large GPU deployments inside an enterprise DC environment L2 Technician- same as L3 but 2+ years of experience Summary: Remove network cables as part of a datacenter decommission Run/Label/Stage Power & Networking Cables DBD removal only (does not perform any scanning) Follows procedures for preparing, installing, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, replacing, and/or decommissioning equipment with guidance from Datacenter Technician Leads Prepares, stages, sets up, and performs basic startups and shutdowns for hardware following written instructions, checklists, guides, standard procedures, and with guidance from Datacenter Technician Leads Physical audits of datacenter assets Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Required: Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components. Required: Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) The main function of a Data Center Technician is to monitor software to process business, scientific, engineering, and other data according to operating instructions. Job Responsibilities: - Monitor the system for equipment failure or errors in performance - Respond to program error messages by finding and correcting problems or terminating the program - Help programmers and systems analysts test and debug new programs - Operate spreadsheet programs and other types of software to load and manipulate data and to produce reports Qualifications: - Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training preferred - 4+ years of DC experience required - Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills - Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time Skills Data center, Cable, Cabling, Hardware Top Skills Details Data center,Cable,Cabling,Hardware Additional Skills & Qualifications Recruiters please walk your candidates through the screening questions below and attach them to your subpacks. (Ethernet is copper cable with lower bandwidth, fiber is light with very high bandwidth) ------ The project will kickoff at PHX62 and will move around the valley from there Address: 1250 N. 40th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85008 Team needs to be open to the West & East Valley locations Team make-up 14 techs on A/B-side days (both leads will sit on days - one for each shift) 12 techs on A/B-side nights Available shifts - Heavier need on day shifts o A Side days: Sun-Wed every other Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM o B Side days: Wed-Sat every other Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM o A Side nights: Sun-Wed every other Wednesday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM o B Side nights: Wed-Sat every other Wednesday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
