Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Review and manipulate data from source systems to maintain data consistency and accuracy.

  • Design and implement data pipelines for ingesting processing and transforming data within our CRM.

  • Maintain data confidentiality and integrity to protect confidential alumni donor and institutional data in accordance with federal state and University guidelines.

  • Create and maintain documentation for internal process support.

  • Develop and enforce rules to ensure data meets quality standards.

  • Work closely with various business groups to improve data collection processing and sharing.

  • Seek opportunities for professional development that will enhance job performance including building networks within the University and with colleagues at peer institutions and with an eye towards broadly diversifying the advancement profession.

  • Plan and execute requirements analysis translating requirements into a scope document and developing reporting deliverables based on the design.

  • Work with users to ensure deliverables are meeting or exceeding expectations.

  • Provide support and communicate issues to users as defined by IT standards.

  • Monitor access control and troubleshoot Business Intelligence and analytic applications.

  • Perform other related work as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 25 years of work experience in a related job discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors degree

  • Major in computer science statistics business or similar major.

Experience:

  • Minimum two years of professional work experience in data analysis records management or similar field.

Technical Knowledge or Skills:

  • Demonstrated skill and knowledge of or ability to learn quickly the internal workings of the University as well as the technology tools available to the Office of Alumni Relations and Development including the Universitys donor relationship management system and the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience working with data and Microsoft Excel.

  • Broad experience working with Salesforce CRM.

  • Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.

  • The ability to work across various teams and projects simultaneously advancing unified strategy.

  • Strong project management skills with an aptitude for leading endtoend project delivery.

  • Knowledge and understanding of higher education advancement industry.
