Job Description

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Identify requirements and advise on use cases within the State Department’s Predictive Analytics environment
• Leverage tools such as Tableau and R
• Coding using Python
• Leverage understanding of SQL for performing data pulls
• Provide data collection, assessment and process support
• Assist in the enhancement/enrichment of data
• Develop analytics to support fraud detection across the full spectrum of services

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Data Management and Analysis, Data Visualization, Communications
• Required Technologies: Python, R, SQL, Microsoft Excel
• SAS, Microsoft Power BI and Tableau are a plus
• Data management and data analysis
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders
• Working knowledge and experience with analysis and modeling using data analytics tools
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail, thoroughness, quality, and customer service orientation
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, with demonstrated ability to translate technical information to a non-technical audience at all levels of the organization
