SAIC is currently looking to hire a Cyber Security Lead to join the team in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities Include:

• Maintain a repository for all organizational or system-level cybersecurity-related documentation.
• Ensure that Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) are appointed in writing and provide oversight to ensure that they are following established cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Ensure that cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews are synchronized and coordinated with affected parties and organizations.
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems.
• Identify and monitor vulnerability management, determine corrective measures, advise protection requirements.
• Develop recommendation and promote awareness of security issues.
• Participate in network and system designs to ensure implementation of sound Cybersecurity principles.
• Review and modify documentation according to Cybersecurity rules and regulations

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in a technical field and five (5+) years of experience; Six (6) years of additional experience can be considered in lieu of a degree (per contract vehicle).

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have an active Secret Security Clearance or have the ability to obtain one; US Citizenship required.

Required Skills:

• eMASS experience is required.
• Experience with development and maintenance of an organizational or system-level cybersecurity program that includes cybersecurity architecture, requirements, objectives and policies, cybersecurity personnel, and cybersecurity processes and procedures.
• Experience with implementing Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes 
• Experience with monitoring compliance with cybersecurity policy, as appropriate, and reviewing the results of such monitoring.
• Experience with handling of possible or actual data spills of classified information resident in ISs, are conducted in accordance with References.
• Experience as a Technical Team lead with focus on focused on cybersecurity operations or insider threat operations in an IT environment consisting of On-Premise, Hybrid, or Cloud-based information systems
• Root cause analysis profiency
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
