Salary Range - $32,500 
 
Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Duties/Responsibilities:  The Peer Support Specialist will provide social and emotional support, advocacy and consumer information to the adult CRRU consumers. These activities are planned and implemented through a partnership between the participant and the treatment team members. These activities are provided to support adults to live their own lives and to direct their own recovery and wellness process.

Experience Required:  A self-identified consumer of Mental health Services diagnosed with a mental illness or substance abuse disorder; attend Peer Support Training; have an understanding of the recovery process and how to use that process to help others. History of working crisis or residential Preferred.
