Join one of the Fastest Growing Lease Purchase / Rent to Own Company in America – Buddy’s Home Furnishings is the third largest Rent-To-Own (“RTO”) furniture, appliance, electronic and computer provider in the United States. Over the past five years, Buddy’s has aggressively expanded its footprint by adding new company-owned and franchised stores outside of its home area. Currently, Buddy’s has more than 300 locations operating in the U.S. and Guam. The Company plans to continue this rapid growth over the next several years by opening new company-owned stores, acquiring independently operated RTO stores and franchising stores.

The Credit Manager along with the Sales Manager are the second in charge at the individual branch location. The Credit Manager performs a wide variety of job functions at the direction of the General Manager, assisting and coordinating store activities to ensure safe, professional and profitable operations. The Credit Manager is accountable for meeting company objectives; maintain company quality standards and adhering to company policies.

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Principal Responsibilities
* Acquire and Maintain Customers
* Act as a customer liaison who resells the benefits of timely rental/lease agreement renewal payments
* Assist in managing store personnel; may direct activities of one or more employees
* Compliance with all applicable federal, state and local statutes
* Decipher, prepare and review store reports
* Document all customer commitments
* Ensure company standards for renewals, delinquencies and store collections are satisfied
* Fill out paperwork for submission to corporate support
* Follow monthly marketing plans and maintain internal quality control standards
* Manage customer accounts
* Managing inventory and cash assets
* Prepare daily work schedules, delivery schedules, assign tasks, enforce company policy
* All other duties deemed necessary for effective store management

Prior experience as Credit manager, Sales Manager, general manager, Supervisor, sales associate, sales agent, rental agent, account executive, account manager, account collection, rent to own, home furnishings, furniture, electronics, appliances sales at one of the following brands is very helpful to the success at this job: Buddy's Home Furnishings, Rent a Center, Cort, Wayfair, Aaron's, Ace, Costco, City Furniture, Best Buy

* Must have proficient navigational skills with a satisfactory driving record and meet insurability requirements
* Regular and consistent attendance, including nights and weekends as business dictates

Education and Experience
* Two years’ experience with Rent-to-Own, retail or other business emphasizing customer service, account management, sales and merchandising.

General Physical Requirements
* Position routinely requires lifting, loading, moving, and using a dolly for merchandise 50-300 pounds
* Stooping, bending, pulling, climbing, reaching and grabbing as required
* Must be able to traverse multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliance, and electronics
* Prolonged driving and standing
* Must be able to work in and outdoors in a variety of climates and weather conditions.
