Job Overview

As a Copywriter & Proofreader, you will report to the Senior Manager, Packaging and Design. As an integral part of our Design department, you will create engaging, clear, and error-free content by proofreading and editing various forms of copy material. This position is key in ensuring our content is consistent in quality and accuracy, while staying current with industry trends.

Job Responsibilities

• Write and edit copy for various projects including packaging, web content, marketing content, and other materials.
• Proofread materials for grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors.
• Ensure all written materials meet quality standards and company voice.
• Collaborate across departments to develop accurate and consistent copy content.
• Monitor trends in copywriting and proofreading techniques.

Job Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, or related field.
• 1+ years experience related to copywriting and proofreading.
• Strong grammar, writing, and editing skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with InDesign and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of current trends in copywriting and proofreading techniques.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
• Knowledge of other languages a plus.

• Must be able to commute to the Westbury office.
