Job Description

Reporting organisationally to the Team Services Planning Manager, the Team Services Planning Coordinator will be a key member of the FIFA26 Operations team, and work in close collaboration with FIFA Zurich Team Services and other key individuals responsible for delivering Team Facilities project planning and be responsible for all administrative matters within the Team Facilities team across three countries.

THE POSITION

Under the guidance of the Team Services Planning Manager (USA) and Senior Team Facilities Manager (USA), the Team Facilities Planning Coordinator will be leading Team Facilities project planning and be responsible for all administrative matters within the Team Facilities team across three countries.

They will need to ensure consistency in facilities for participating teams and referees in the three host countries during the FIFA 25 Club World Cup and the FIFA World Cup 26.

The main responsibilities and oversights of the Team Services Planning Coordinator for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:  
  • Providing administrative and planning support for Team Facilities team across operational concepts, policies and procedures;     
  • Overseeing preparation and operational readiness of all training sites across three countries;
  • Leading Team Facilities project planning and coordinating delivery of all milestones by the team members; 
  • Supporting interactions between functional areas for the delivery of the facilities (Technical services, Logistics, Pitch Management, etc.) for all participating teams and referees; 
  • Leading the selection, onboarding process and shifts assignment for Team Facilities short-term staff and volunteers;
  • Leading the preparation of readiness exercises, table-tops and training materials for tournament staff and volunteers;·       Overseeing the rental fee payment before and after the tournaments;
  • Confirming the rental period of all training sites as a part of the reconciliation process;
  • Assisting with preparations for any Team Base Camps and Team Facilities inspection visits (teams or FIFA delegation);     
  • Representing Team Facilities project at various planning meetings and other relevant activities, as required
  • Representing Team Facilities team during events in the main operational center.

Education and qualifications
• Excellent communicator with strong planning, organizational and administrative skills.

• Able to manage a group of people working on the same projects and, as required, coordinate people in other functional areas to contribute to projects.

Work experience
• A minimum of three years of experience in event/project management, ideally at the international level.
• Proven track record in managing complex projects, including both pre-event planning and event implementation.

Languages
• Fluency in English (oral and written); any additional language skills a strong asset.

Technology
• Strong IT skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Smartsheet and other planning tools.
