Job Description

JSL Technologies is looking for a Contracts Administrator to join our growing company and be part of its success. In this full-time role with JSL you will be responsible for writing, evaluating, negotiating and executing various contracts and contract documents covering a range of transactions; creating and maintaining relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and customers; and maintaining correspondence and documentation related to contracts. You will also be communicating and presenting information to stakeholders regarding contracts; monitoring contracts; and moving forward with close-out extension or renewal of contracts as well as problem-solving contract-related issues. You will be involved in reviewing Government contract modifications, preparing subcontractor contract modifications and administering contracts in Costpoint. The position will also include proposal development efforts.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferably Business Administration, Law/Legal (non-construction Contract Administrator roles)
  • At least three years of Government contract administration experience
  • Proven work experience as a Contract Administrator or similar
  • Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts, Federal Acquisition Regulations
  • Familiarity with accounting procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Proactive, highly motivated and flexible
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills
  • Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners
  • Experienced with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now, or anytime in the future.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level U.S. Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Secret-level U.S. Security Clearance
  • Familiarity with accounting procedures
  • Costpoint experience

Security Clearance

Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation including but not limited to criminal history employment and education verification drug testing and creditworthiness.
