And we're growing! **The Role** Our banking and financial services group is looking for a **Consulting Principal** to join our journey. We're looking for someone who has excellent product management experience, and a passion for user experience. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for defining, building and launching B2B or enterprise facing digital products. At **the Associate Director Level** , this means overseeing advisory consulting engagements, being a trusted advisor to clients, establishing oneself as a thought leader in your field, solving complex problems, consultatively working with a client to achieve business goals, driving contributions to offerings and innovations, and serving as a people leader, guiding multiple teams as they work to transform a client and the world. Apply now! **Responsibilities** + Serve as the Engagement Lead and manage teams of Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Managers for one or more commercial projects to ensure effective negotiations, well-aligned solution-delivery-to-plan, clear engagement governance accountabilities, profitability, and overall client satisfaction + Drive requirements and execution focused on delivering self service capabilities to meet client needs. + Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring development work aligns with roadmap. + Drive discovery and research to uncover client pain points and translate insights into actionable product requirements. + Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and analytics partners to bring digital products to market. + Lead agile ceremonies, write clear user stories, and oversee delivery milestones. + Monitor product performance using data and client feedback, iterating to improve outcomes. + Leverage collegial networks across Cognizant (e.g., sales, service line community, offshore delivery) and externs partners to innovate solutioning or resolve issues; and + Support and contribute to the establishment of thought leadership in the industry, to promote Cognizant's brand and to drive additional opportunities for Cognizant. **Qualifications** + 10 + years of consulting, professional services, digital strategy development, advisory, or transformation programs operating in a client-facing capacity serving and leading external client engagements + A proven track record in a client-facing role with at least 2 of which (though ideally more) are leading digital technology team + 8+ years of experience in product management, digital product development, or related fields + Demonstrated ability to define, build, and launch B2B or enterprise-facing digital products + Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders + Proven experience managing product roadmaps, writing user stories, and working in agile environments + Comfort working with data (qualitative and quantitative) to support decision-making + Passion for user experience + Experience in financial services, fintech, or enterprise app development. + Familiarity with digital commercial banking platforms, cash management tools, treasury services, or business onboarding is preferred + Experience working within a large matrixed organization is preferred + Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in commercial banking is preferred + Experience with pricing strategy including monetization models, tiered offerings, and cost/value trade-offs is preferred + Experience with self-service/digital enablement including user permissions, digital administration, and user management is preferred · Onsite Requirements: Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite in San Jose, CA · Personal leadership and a desire to create a culture that enables exceptional outcomes · The embodiment of Cognizant's Core Values of: Start with a point of view; Seek data, build knowledge; Always strive, never settle; Work as one; Create conditions for everyone to thrive; Do the right thing, the right way. **Work Authorization** · Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.) **Salary and Other Compensation:** The annual salary for this position is between $180,000 - $210,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
