Job Summary:
We are seeking a Commercial Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction projects, working under the direction of the construction manager or lead carpenter.
Duties:
-Demolition
-Rough and finish carpentry
-Steel Studs and Drywall
- Perform general labor tasks on construction sites such as cleaning and preparing the work area.
- Assist with building and dismantling scaffolding and temporary structures.
- Aid in mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete.
- Support skilled tradesmen in tasks such as masonry, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
- Help with installing and repairing fixtures such as cabinets and tiles.
- Assist in restoring structures to their original condition.
Skills:
- Proficiency in construction painting and masonry.
- Ability to work with tools to build structures.
- Knowledge of Bluebeam software for construction projects is a plus.
- Basic plumbing skills for assisting in plumbing tasks.
- Familiarity with trim carpentry techniques.
- Experience in tile laying for flooring or walls.
- Competence in cabinet installation procedures.
- Capability to restore structures by following design plans.
- Previous experience as a carpenter is advantageous.
