Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Configuration and CDRL Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing configuration management and CDRL (Contract Data Requirements List) activities for complex defense projects. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the success of critical defense programs and delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain configuration management plans and processes in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Manage the configuration control process, including configuration identification, change control, status accounting, and auditing.
  • Lead and coordinate configuration control boards (CCBs) and technical review boards (TRBs) and ensure proper documentation and tracking of board decisions.
  • Review and analyze proposed changes to ensure they comply with project requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Support the development and maintenance of CDRL packages, including identifying data requirements, tracking deliverables, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of CDRL data.
  • Conduct audits and assessments of configuration management and CDRL processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders on configuration management and CDRL requirements and processes.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and project management teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of configuration and CDRL activities, including configuration baselines, change histories, and audit findings.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • SECRET or higher clearance level
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes and regulations, including DoDI 5000.02 and FAR Part 45.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management system requirements.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in configuration management and CDRL management, preferably in a defense or aerospace environment.
  • Experience with CDRL development, management, and compliance, and familiarity with DFARS 252.243-7001.
  • Certification in configuration management or related field (e.g., CMII certification).
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and other project management methodologies.
  • Experience with database management and data analysis tools.
