Job Description

Join our team as a Construction Laborer and contribute to the creation of various concrete construction projects across the area. We offer competitive pay rates, starting at a minimum of $22/Hour for private projects and $28/Hour for prevailing wage projects. Responsibilities

• Perform tasks involving labor, concrete finishing, and form carpentry at various construction sites.
• Operate hand and power tools of all types, including shovels, brooms, screeds, concrete finishing tools, concrete lute, pneumatic breakers, earth tampers, concrete mixers, measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
• Prepare for and place concrete for curbs, sidewalks, ada ramps, bridges, concrete pavement, and other concrete structures.
• Locate provided survey and prepare concrete forms at proper locations and elevations.
• Install required reinforcement or concrete accessories, as needed.
• Apply concrete curing agents or sheeting, as needed.
• Tend pumps, compressors, or generators to provide power for tools, machinery, or equipment.
• Lubricate, clean, and inspect machinery, equipment, or tools before use.
• Follow instructions, read plans, and specifications to determine work activities, as directed by supervisor.
• Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
• Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations.
• Control traffic passing near, in, or around work zones.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license required.
• ACI Certified Concrete Technicians are encouraged to apply.
• We hire at all experience levels, pay is commensurate with field performance and proven skills.
• Must be motivated and a hard worker.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Compensation

Private projects start at a minimum of $22/Hour and prevailing wage projects start at a minimum of $28/Hour . Pay is commensurate with proven abilities and performance.
