  • Education: engineer is desirable, but strong experience in Lifting Operations is priority.

  • Minimum 10 Years in offshore operations.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in Logistics would be appreciated, including working in ports, shorebase , contractor facilities, vessels.
  • Experience on lifting operations: Crane, Rigging and Handling at Supervisory level.
  • Broad and extensive knowledge in Lifting operations and equipment
  • HSE in Oil & Gas industry background and demonstrated expertise .
  • Knowledge in International standards such as: BS, ISO, API, LOLER, NORSOK, etc.
  • Worked in onshore and offshore operations.
  • Risk assessment in relation to health, safety & environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:

  • Supervision of critical lifts
  • Planning of non-critical and critical lifts
  • Assessment of personnel competence for lifting operations
  • Lifting equipment inspector for:
  • General Lifting Equipment .
  • All types of Cranes (onshore & offshore) .
  • Containers & CCU's .
  • Forklift trucks and stackers .
  • Winches and powered hoists .
  • Overhead travelling cranes, runway beams and swing jibs .
  • Wire rope inspector .
  • Competence Assessor .
Activities

  • Technical assistance :
  • Act as technical advis o r in lifting and handling operations.
  • Responsible for the Lifting Management System (LMS) of the affiliate , its understanding and application.
  • Review and approve lifting plan.
  • Act as technical advis o r for lifting and handling personnel including its competences.
  • Undertakes periodic reviews/audits as required particularly focusing upon the higher risk activities.
  • Participates in the internal audits of the implementation of the LMS.
  • Review and approve lifting plan.
  • Promote safe lifting and handling operation referring TotalEnergies HSE police and international standard .
  • Assesses the personnel competencies to carry out lifting or handling operations.
  • Participate in development and training plan for users up to required competence.
  • Communicate and ensure of the competencies of workers in the affiliate.
  • Provid e lifting and handling expertise advice to all RSES/RSES-D and Project Managers, conduct annual reviews .
  • Responsible development of methodology , rules , maintenance, and instructions for lifting / handling operations.
  • Identify and p ropose individuals to SLS nomination (on sites).
  • Coordinates liaisons with other affiliate entities and departments as well as with LSO HQ.
  • Seeks assistance from EP/DSO/TEC when CPLO's competencies are not sufficient.
  • Review engineering calculation for critical lifts, approve critical lifting plans and attend the lift (If required ).
  • Perform condition checks and fitness for purpose on lifting appliances/accessories, CCUs and evaluate their utilization on site.
  • Participate in all lifting and handling audits in the affiliate, report HIPO incidents to HQ CPLO Coordinator.
  • HSE:
  • Develop, plan, and follow up the implementation of MAESTRO (HSE-MS of TOTAL) within LSO.
  • Ensure that the logistics operations are in line with TTE HSE Policies, Rules, Guides, G uide S pecifications and local regulations.
  • Track all events and corrective actions (ANO, NMI, INC, etc.), ensuring they are well reported , updated in Synergy as well corrective and preventive measures are implemented .
  • Follow up LSO and HSE training and ensure all competencies are covered as per Company Rules and local requirements.
  • Ensure REX's are well shared in operating sites and Toolbox Talks Meetings.
  • Follow up with LSO Methods Engineer to ensure LSO downgraded situations and Management of Change data base are maintained and updated according to operations.
  • Participate in the incident investigation and follow-up (implementation of CTA conclusions).
  • Method , audit & procedures.
  • Assist LSO Methods Engineer to review and develop LSO operational procedures (Guidebooks, manuals, etc.), as requested and agreed between LSO Manager.
  • Assist LSO Methods Engineer to follow LSO audits as per affiliate Audit plan or, as requested and agreed between LSO Manager. Ensure affiliate audit schedule is respected in LSO and well recorded in Synerg i .
  • Assure that daily / weekly reports incorporate HSE information for each Logistics activity.
  • Perform regular site visits, being known as OSL /CPLO representative in all sites.
  • Perform regular site audits and ensure action plan becomes alive for LSO representative.
  • Ensure all Bridging Documents are in place and up to date. Lead Bridging document creation for new contracts and operations.
  • Lead HSE event/accidents investigations , reports and root cause analysis .
  • Actively participate on HSE initiatives replicating and leading them inside LSO organization and LSO suppliers.

LSO department provides the Logistics and the Support to Operations within TotalEnergies EP Brasil affiliate. As such LSO supports:

  • Drilling, Development/Construction and Production activities in LAPA field.
  • Any operations in non-Operated assets.
  • Exploration campaigns projects.
  • Research & development projects related to new technology in the field of Support to Operations.
  • High-Cost environment with stringent local Brazilian regulations.
  • Deepwater and ultra-deepwater environments.
