Direct Support Professional (DSP) Caregiver Companion, 2nd Shift

Job Description:

Project Genesis is immediately hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), Caregivers, and Companions to provide compassionate non-medical support to individuals in our Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) program. We are a nonprofit organization serving adults and teens throughout Connecticut who have a wide range of disabilities.

EARN $16.35 AN HOUR!

FULL-TIME & PART-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE!

Hartford: Friday, Saturday 4pm-10pm

Qualifications:

• You must have a high school diploma or equivalent;
• Reliable transportation, and a valid driver's license;
• At least 3+ years of a good driving record, and proof of insurance. 
• In addition, you must be at least 18 years of age.

Must Have: 

• An Acquired Brain Injury and Person-Centered Certification. We can assist you with this certification.
• The ability to take a training program.
• A flexible schedule and the ability to travel to assigned areas for work.

As a Direct Support Professional, ABI Caregiver / Companion, you will assist our clients with meal preparation, personal hygiene, financial management, and socialization. You will also be expected to perform light housekeeping tasks, as needed, and accurately complete documentation.
