H!ERO is seeking an enthusiastic and driven entry level Community Outreach Representative to join our initiatives in servicing our local communities. We are committed to engaging with the community and connecting them with resources and enrollment services provided by the Federal Lifeline Program.  Our entry level Community Outreach Representatives provide a better quality of life for low-income households by supplying them with fundamental communication tools.

Community Outreach Representative Responsibilities (at the entry level): 

• Cultivate, grow, and strengthen consumer relations with a warm, sincere, and courteous demeanor
• Serve as the primary liaison in our local community  by conducting outreach and engagement activities
• Attend daily meetingS with senior program managers to stay up to date on emerging trends, understand program expectations and analyze progress to develop resolutions that exceed set goals
• Derive confidential information from consumers such as contact information, identity verification, and address in order to verify eligibility for federal benefits
• Complete full case evaluations and determine the client's' eligibility for the division program

Community Outreach Representative Requirements: 

• No degree required, just excellent people skills for customers from all walks of life
• Background in Customer Service, Community Outreach, or Sales
• Experience with public speaking, nonprofit organizations, and delivering educational presentations
• Confident, articulate verbal and written communicator 
• Comfortable communicating in communities with diverse populations
• Ability to take initiative and seek out additional projects
• Grasp company and program outreach knowledge quickly
