Registered Professional Land Surveyor – Commercial Land Surveying

Location: Houston, TX On-site

$110K-$130K

Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS)

This firm delivers a wide range of land surveying services for both public and private clients across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The RPLS will oversee project management, boundary determination, legal descriptions, and quality control, while also supporting project scoping and client communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage survey and platting projects from start to finish in compliance with Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors regulations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients on project scope, timeline, and deliverables.
• Review title commitments, utility plans, and other documents to ensure survey accuracy.
• Conduct final QA/QC of survey data and legal descriptions.
• Track project progress using internal systems and support accurate billing processes.
• Deliver survey data in required formats and maintain detailed project documentation.
• Uphold company policies and deliver exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

• RPLS license in Texas.
• 2+ years of professional experience in land surveying.
• Associate degree or higher in Surveying or related field.
• Proficient in CAD software and surveying tools
• Strong organizational, communication, and client service skills.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and appropriate auto insurance.
