Job Description

We are looking for a full-time (entry-level) CNC Operators with at least 2 years’ experience (or recent technical school grad) for their Hurco & Haas mills.

Machinists in their shop tend to be individual thinkers who are always looking for a better/faster way to get something done.

PAY STARTS AT $18/HR -$20/HR. WITH NO EXP (D.O.E.)

Responsibilities:

• Program, Setup & Operation of Hurco & Haas CNC Mills.
• Must have reliable transportation with consistent work attendance.
• Understand basic G-Code & M-Code, can follow directions, and have knowledge of machining in a custom job shop environment.
• Familiar with reviewing a print, setting up the machine with the proper tooling, programming when necessary, using machine code, having their measuring tools, and, of course, getting parts done quickly and accurately.
• Mechanically inclined and can understand what our customers are asking them to do, think outside the box to come up with a solution , and get the task at hand accomplished promptly.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years' experience (or attend / recent graduate of technical school).
• Knowledge of Machining in a Custom Job Shop Environment.
• Understand basic G-Code & M-Code & familiar with reading prints.
• Set up the machine with the proper tooling and programming using machine code.
• Requires minimal supervision with the ability to follow directions.
• Mechanically inclined and thinks outside the box to come up with solutions.
• Prefer candidates to have their measuring tools.
• Must have reliable transportation with consistent work attendance.
• Ability to lift, pull, & push 50 LBS during set-ups.
• Fluent in English (oral & written).
