TITLE : AWS Cloud Architect
Location: Irvine, CA / San Antonio, TX (Hybrid - 3 days onsite) (Local only)
C2C (without sponsorship)
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture: Design and implement robust cloud solutions on the AWS platform, focusing on the performance, scalability, and reliability of database systems.
Database Management: Leverage expertise in MSSQL and other database technologies to ensure optimal configurations, architecture, and management of database services in AWS.
Automation: Implement automation to streamline operations, monitoring, and infrastructure management for cloud-based databases.
Best Practices: Develop and promote best practices for cloud infrastructure and database management, ensuring the highest standards of security and performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, engineering, and operations, to drive cloud initiatives and ensure cohesive cloud solutions.
Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering an environment of learning and innovation.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in AWS Cloud Architecture, particularly in designing and implementing database solutions.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with MSSQL and other relevant database technologies.
Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks for managing cloud infrastructure.
Experience with cloud performance tuning, scalability, and reliability best practices.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams.
Ability to provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Database - Specialty).
Experience with additional database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
