Our client provides direct-hire construction services for Power Delivery Services utilizing organized and open shop labor force throughout North America currently consists of Transmission & Distribution, Wind and Solar Projects.

Job Summary

Seeking a Mid-Level Civil Designer with 10+ years of experience in civil design, including 3D modeling and developing grading and drainage drawings. Must be proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, with a strong background in civil modeling and site development projects.

Job Description

• Comprehend and identify design issues and analyzes the situation to propose solutions.
• Seeks out assistance for complex issues.
• Little to no supervision required to apply standard correctly to civil design.
• Initiate development of personal objectives aligned with those of the organization.
• Complete as-built by utilizing Request for Information (RFIs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and red-marked drawings from construction.
• Communicates effectively with supervisor and members of immediate department.
• Receives little to no instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new assignment from more experienced engineer. Receives guidance on high risk or advanced conditions.
• Can provide guidance to less experienced designers.
• Adjust to varying demands of work and performs well.

Skills Required

• 10+ years of experience in civil design including 3D modeling with civil software and developing civil grading and drainage drawings
• Civil modeling experience using Civil 3D is required.
• AutoCAD proficiency is required. 
• Hands-on FEED and EPC execution

Education/Training/Certifications

• Associate degree or High School diploma.
