Job Description

I am looking for a Citrix Cloud Engineer with AWS experience in DevOps. Must have some form of Scripting (PowerShell or Python) experience.

MUST live in NYC area and be willing to work onsite 4 days/week Midtown NYC.

Cloud EUC Engineer

SKILL & COMPETENCIES

Min. 5 years of experience at a similar role in global or large environments

Responsibilities

• Leverage experience with Citrix to setup and maintain virtual desktops and virtual apps in AWS
• Deploy and lifecycle of gold images with an "as-code" approach through DevOps scripting tools
• Troubleshooting, problem tracking, root-cause analysis, may engage with vendor support
• Detect trends in technical issues, develops recommendations for long-term improvements
• Regularly assess Cloud EUC competitor solutions to identify innovations and recommend improvements to maintain strategic alignment and vendor neutrality
• Communicate status of issue and resolution to internal customers
• Drives innovation within the platform scope by aligning solutions with organizational objectives and avoiding vendor-specific dependencies
• Collaborate in API integrations to enhance automation and systems interoperability

Technical skills

• Citrix: Experience with DaaS, Virtual Desktops, and Apps; Citrix Cloud is mandatory
• VDI: Strong knowledge of MCS deployments and related technologies
• Scripting languages:
  • PowerShell and Citrix PowerShell scripting mandatory
  • hcl, json, yml, vbs
  • Python an advantage
• EUC Technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, FSLogix, Citrix WEM
• Client OS: Windows 10 / 11, macOS, iOS, Linux
• DevOps tools: Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Packer, Ansible
• API Development & Integration: Experience working with REST APIs, and scripting for API automation
• Cloud Platforms: Expertise with AWS (mandatory); experience with another Cloud provider is an advantage
• Gold image management: Experience in maintaining gold images for Citrix Workers and Virtual Desktops
• Agile tools: Jira
• Documentation: Proficiency in Confluence

Certifications (Preferred)

• Citrix (CCA/CCP/CCE-V)
• AWS Cloud Practitioner
• Microsoft certifications, an advantage
• Security certifications, an advantage
• Hashicorp certified: Terraform Associate, an advantage
• ITILv4
• SCRUM
