As a Network Infrastructure Deployment and Operations Engineer , you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining network infrastructure across data centers, branches, and campuses. Your expertise will ensure seamless connectivity, troubleshoot network issues, and contribute to the overall stability of the organization's network. Here are the key responsibilities:

1. Deployment and Integration :
   • Deploy new sites, Points of Delivery (PODs), and expand existing infrastructure.
   • Integrate with the global Wide Area Network (WAN) to ensure connectivity.
2. Troubleshooting and Escalation :
   • Troubleshoot network issues related to routing protocols, Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF), and day-to-day operations.
   • Serve as a point of escalation for production outages.
3. Data Networking Principles :
   • Apply your excellent knowledge of data networking principles to optimize network performance and reliability.
4. Hardware and Protocols :
   • Work with routers and switches from vendors such as Cisco, Arista, and Juniper.
   • Configure and manage routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and VRFs.
   • Understand underlay and overlay network concepts.
5. Packet Analysis and Troubleshooting :
   • Analyze packet captures using tools like Wireshark to identify network and application issues.
6. Specific Technologies :
   • Expertise in Cisco Switches and Routers, Juniper Routers, and Arista Switches.
   • Familiarity with Ethernet technologies (spanning tree, VLANs, trunking, multilayer switching).
   • Knowledge of WAN technologies (MPLS/VPN).
7. Routing Protocols and Multicast :
   • Configure and optimize IP routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, RIP).
   • Understand multicast routing (PIM, IGMP, MSDP).
8. Additional Skills :
   • Proficiency in tools like Visio, PowerPoint, Unix, and scripting.
   • Experience creating and leveraging Splunk dashboards is a significant advantage.

Qualifications

• Experience : A minimum of 5 years in network infrastructure deployment and operations.
• Education : Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Certifications : Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA) are desirable.
