Job Description: We are seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead and oversee our clients cyber and information security programs in the Americas. Experience in at least 5 years of experience within the same role. Someone with PCI DSS and Financial Services sector experience. Desired certification includes CISSP, CISA, CRISC.
Must be fluent with Mandarin and English for internal and external communication with teams and customers.
This is a permanent role, hybrid work at Sunnyvale, California.
Role and Responsibilities: ● Ensure cyber security strategy, policies, standards and procedures are established and implemented.
● Demonstrable experience running security compliance programes.
● Experience maintaining compliance with information security standards and regulations such as PCI DSS, ISO27001, GDPR, NYFDS500, CCPA, SOC2.
● Understand similarities and differences between cybersecurity and privacy in regulatory landscape.
● Strong security foundation knowledge and practices in identity and access management, authentication, authorization, crypto, protocol security, perimeter security, OS hardening, threat intelligence, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
● Demonstrable ability to balance and prioritise security requirements with business objectives and resource constraints.
● Monitor compliance with cyber security regulations, policies, standards and procedures.
● Manage a set of standards and procedures for local security operations.
● Review and ensure security requirements of all Data, Applications (SDL), Cloud and Infrastructure (network, system, database) are compliant with information security and compliance standards.
● Work with Legal, Compliance, Audit, Privacy and IT Technology functions in audit and inspection projects to assure compliance with Canada regulations.
