Job Description

As a Medical Assistant at our client Urgent Care you will play a crucial role in managing customer flow and assisting providers in delivering individualized care to customers of all age groups. Your responsibilities will include clinical care clinic support and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Hourly Range: $20.00 $26.00 (based on years of experience) Salary Range: $41600 $54080 Key Responsibilities Perform clinical and clerical tasks to assist with the management of customer flow throughout the clinic Provide support to the clinic including front desk/checkin support and ordering and stocking supplies Schedule and Shift Details Day/Evenings 72 Hours Per Pay Period Travel Travel using personal vehicle to various local worksites is required

Requirements

• High School/GED
  

• Medical Assistant (1 years)
  

• Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)

• Are you CMA/RMA according to nationallygoverned body like the AAMA etc

Required skills & experience: 1) Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. 2) Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of LA (or other NLC state). 3) 2+ years previous experience working in care management and/or with CKD/ESRD patients is preferred. 4) Ability to take call remotely on some nights and weekends 5) Must have Home Health and/or Hospice experience. Preferred 2+ years experience in any of the following: Dialysis Care Home Health Care Hospice Case Management (CM)
