Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
Location: Paramus, New Jersey
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM | 5 × 8-hour shifts
Pay Rate: $21/hr (Blended)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to perform a combination of administrative and clinical duties in a healthcare setting. This role involves supporting patient care, maintaining accurate records, and assisting providers with various medical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and prepare patients for examinations.
Record patient history, vital signs, and other information.
Assist healthcare providers during procedures and examinations.
Administer medications and injections as directed by a physician.
Manage patient records and update documentation in the medical system.
Schedule appointments, manage correspondence, and perform other administrative duties as needed.
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Required Certifications & Licensure:
AHA BLS Certification (American Heart Association Basic Life Support).
One of the following active certifications:
CMA – NHA (National Healthcareer Association)
CMA – NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing)
CMA – AAMA (American Association of Medical Assistants)
RMA – AMT (American Medical Technologists)
RMA – NAHP (National Association for Health Professionals)
AMCA (American Medical Certification Association)
