Oregon Brand Management is a family-owned and operated wine distributor currently celebrating its 20th year in the Oregon market. OBM proudly represents a portfolio of iconic, heritage wineries from the Willamette Valley as well as a diverse collection of imports from Spain, Italy and France.

We're seeking an organized, self-motivated candidate with excellent customer service skills to both maintain and grow an existing sales territory. A background in hospitality and/or food and wine is preferred. The sales territory includes but is not limited to Bend, Redmond and Sisters and the ideal candidate lives in the area. This position will report directly to the Director of Sales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

-To promote the Oregon Brand Management portfolio throughout regional markets focused towards restaurant and fine wine retail sales.
-Develop an effective marketing and sales plan in order to maximize wine distribution within an established customer base.
-Communicate with customers, replying to questions and requests via email and phone in a timely fashion.
-Expand the territory by developing new accounts and growing per-account sales.
-Participate in wine education programs, host wine dinners and consumer pouring events.
-Merchandising wine at key retail accounts

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

-Must hold a valid driver's license
-Have reliable transportation
-Ability to spend extended periods in car travelling between accounts
-Must be able to lift 45 pounds
-Must hold a valid OLCC server’s permit

COMPENSATION

This is a 1099, commission-based position; supplemented by periodic supplier incentives. It is an ideal part-time role to line up with a restaurant schedule or double up with an existing wholesale position. The right candidate will see substantial growth in the burgeoning Central Oregon market.
