We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dealership Porter to join our team. As a porter, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dealership and providing outstanding customer service.
Job Summary:
The Dealership Porter is responsible for supporting the service and sales departments by moving, cleaning, and organizing vehicles. This position ensures the dealerships lot is well-maintained, vehicles are presentable, and customers receive prompt and courteous assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Move and park vehicles in an orderly manner on the dealership lot, in service bays, and around the facility.
- Ensure vehicles are clean and ready for customer delivery, including washing and vacuuming.
- Assist with the preparation of vehicles for sale, including refueling, prepping, and maintenance tasks.
- Retrieve vehicles for customers during service appointments or after a sale.
- Maintain a clean and organized lot, removing debris and keeping all areas tidy.
- Assist the sales team with vehicle drop-offs, pick-ups, and general logistical needs.
- Perform occasional shuttle service for customers to and from the dealership, if needed.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report any issues or damages to management.
- Assist sales and service teams with any additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods.
Work Schedule:
Varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, may be required based on business needs.
