If you have experience working in assisted living facilities, independent living facilities, senior living facilities, nursing homes, home care or live in, we’d love for you to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and provide companionship and emotional support.
- Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and provide transportation as needed.
- Remind clients to take medications as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a caregiver or similar role.
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish or others) preferred.
- Certification in CPR and first aid preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and patience when dealing with individuals who may have physical or cognitive limitations.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.
