Position: Cardio Step & Sculpt Group Fitness Instructor – Substitute (Potential for Permanent Role)

Are you passionate about fitness and creating dynamic, enjoyable workouts? The Alper JCC Miami is looking for a vibrant and skilled Cardio Step & Sculpt Group Fitness Instructor to step into a substitute role, with the potential to join our team permanently.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead engaging Cardio Step & Sculpt classes that combine step aerobics, strength training, and fun choreography to create a total-body workout.
• Deliver safe, effective, and inclusive classes that cater to participants of all fitness levels.
• Bring energy and creativity to class programming, ensuring a variety of movements that challenge and excite participants.
• Build a supportive, welcoming class environment that encourages participants to push their limits while having fun.
• Be a positive ambassador for fitness and wellness within the Alper JCC community.

What We’re Looking For:

• Certification: A nationally recognized Group Fitness Instructor certification (ACE, NASM, AFAA, etc.) or relevant credentials.
• Experience: Background in teaching group fitness classes, especially step, cardio, or sculpting formats.
• Charisma: A positive, energetic attitude with a talent for engaging and motivating participants.
• Knowledge: A solid foundation in fitness techniques, including strength and cardiovascular training, proper form, and injury prevention.
• Adaptability: Availability to step in as a substitute instructor, with opportunities to transition to a permanent schedule.

For fitness enthusiasts, our Fitness Center is a great place to play racquetball, train with a friend in the gym, play tennis or swim in our chilled/heated 25 yard outdoor swimming pool. Our Youth and Adult Building, home to a wide selection of adult programs and our children's department offers the young and young at heart a place to gather and socialize. Also, our Sablotsky Cultural Arts Center hosts visual arts exhibits and performance or all ages and focuses on bringing renowned Jewish artists, authors, and entertainers for the community to enjoy!
