Location : College Station TX

Shift : 8Hour Days (7:00 AM 3:00 PM) Monday to Friday

Shifts Per Week : 5

Scheduled Hours : 40 hours per week

Hourly Rate : $27 $37

SignOn Bonus : $10000 SignOn Bonus plus Relocation Assistance

Job Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated Cardiac Sonographer to join our Echo Lab team in College Station TX. In this fulltime role you will perform various cardiac ultrasound procedures and assist physicians in both outpatient and inpatient settings. You will also be responsible for preparing patients obtaining clinical history performing echocardiography studies and ensuring quality standards are followed.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform basic to advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures ensuring accurate highquality results.
• Identify and define cardiac abnormalities extending the scope of the examination as needed.
• Assist physicians with echocardiograph studies during complex procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures and gather relevant clinical history.
• Maintain daily lab operations ensuring equipment is functioning properly and reporting any malfunctions.
• Serve as a resource to other staff ensuring adherence to protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with the quality coordinator and assist with IAC accreditation activities.

Qualifications :

• Education: Graduate of an accredited program or 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience: Less than 1 year of experience required
• Certification/License:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must obtain within 30 days of hire/transfer)
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) within 6 months of hire/transfer
